Rev. Bill Baltz: As the new pastor of Christ Presbyterian church in Gardnerville, I can tell you that our church is growing in Christ, growing in commitment, growing in community. I am a second-career pastor, having worked 30 years in executive sales and management with Xerox Corp. in Los Angeles. After I retired, I fulfilled a lifelong calling to enter the ministry. I attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and accepted a call last summer to be the pastor of Christ Presbyterian. It was a glorious day in July 2007 when I was officially ordained as a Presbyterian minister, surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, and this wonderful congregation My wife, Pann, and I are both originally from Southern California, where we attended Hollywood Presbyterian Church.
